Automated microscope-image workflow for colony morphology analysis

A custom-trained Ultralytics YOLO model detects Microcystis aeruginosa colonies across 16 experimental groups, extracts colony count, area, equivalent diameter, circularity and density, and tracks morphology change over time via machine learning — with every measurement exportable to CSV/Excel and every detection saved as an annotated image for review.
